In order to answer to the challenges of the global market, Cousiño-Macul merged two important areas to create a new Commercial Management with Matías Ovalle as the top leader.
From the beginning of March, our commercial structure was modified to face up better and faster the challenges of a global and complex market that should be completely integrated with the national one.
That’s how the Cousiño family decided to merge two important areas: Exports and National Sales, creating a high management with Matías Ovalle (Commercial Engineer from the Universidad de Chile, 43 years old) as the Sales Director. He leaded the Administration and Finance Management of Cousiño Macul for six years, so he knows every detail of the internal and external management of the winery.
“Our bet is to maintain our position as one of the Chilean leader wineries and to strengthen our internal and external commercial situation. This is a great challenge for my professional career and I appreciate very much the confidence the Cousiño family relayed on me.
