Our icon wine was just launched one month ago and its good predictions are already getting real. Lota 2005 was elected as the Best Premium of Chile by the Wines Guide for Women.

Just one month took Lota 2005 to gain a special place in the Chilean wine world. Our icon not only received excellent comments of the specialized journalists after its launching, but was also qualified with 94 points in Descorchados, the wine guide of the critic Patricio Tapia and the Master Sommerlier, Héctor Vergara.

But that’s not all, Lota 2005 was recently chosen by the Wines Guide for Women as the Best Premium of Chile. “It is the sovereign among the Chilean icon wines. It makes a difference. Its ripeness, intensity and great balance is a poem for the senses. A great pleasure”, assures the Guide.

The tasting board of this Guide is composed by 62 women oenologists, specialized journalists and wine critics leaded by the Chilevinos web page editor, Ana María Barahona. After this exclusive group blind tasted nearly a thousand samples, our Lota was elected as the Best Premium of Chile, with 95 points.

The other wine which stood out was the Finis Terrae 2005. It was pointed out as one of the four Best Red Mixtures of the country. “It emphasizes the best of the Cabernet Sauvignon and the delicateness of a great Merlot. A classic that you can’t miss”, guarantees the Guide.
