Medals, high punctuations and honors achieved by the Cousiño-Macul wines are the best evidence of their great quality and continuous improvement.

The awards and compliments for our wines encourage us to continue doing our best efforts to achieve the maximum quality and perfection in every objective we set; such as we have being doing for the last 150 years.

- Guía de Vinos de Chile 2008
More than a thousand samples were tasted by the critics panel of this prestigious wine guide. Among them, the Cousiño-Macul stood out for their quality, excellence and soundness.
Don Matías Reserva 2006 was the greatest winner, with 4 glasses, the higher punctuation the guide can give. It was also chosen as the Best Value and entered to the circle of the Ten Best Cabernet Sauvignon of Chile, with the seventh place.
Besides, our Don Luis Chardonnay 2007, Sauvignon Gris 2007 and the three varieties of our Antiguas Reservas were considered “excellent” and obtained 3 glasses.

- Descorchados
Another important national wine guide is Descorchados, were Cousiño-Macul also got fantastic results. Lota 2005, with 94 points, was elected as the second Best Red Wine and second Best Assemblage of Chile. In addition, the Antiguas Reservas Merlot 2006, with 90 points, got the third place in the Best Merlot category.

- Expovino Perú 2007
Finally, Don Matías Reservas 2006 was also distinguished in Perú with a Gold Medal in the fourth version of the Peruvian Expovino 2007 where our enologist Rosario Palma represented us. “It was an excellent opportunity to show our wines. We are very happy with the results. We received very good comments about Cousiño-Macul and also two of our wines won medals”, she commented. The other winner was our Don Luis Merlot 2006, with a Silver Medal.
