New opportunities in Brazil

Thomas Mc Donough, Cousiño Macul´s export manager for Latin America, just arrived from a successful trip to Brazil. In the opportunity he visited clients in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. In the Brazilian capital took place the Masterclass, which was held at the Copacabana Palace Hotel. At this exclusive event were tastings of some of our most important wines, Old Reservas Cabernet Sauvignon 2011, Antiguas Reservas Merlot 2011, Finis Terrae 2009 and Lota 2009, which received an special recognition. This was also an excellent opportunity for Cousiño Macul to be disclosed and generate good relationships with people who are in the wine field. Meanwhile in Sao Paulo, was held the Annual Tasting Wines of Chile at the Unique Hotel. There were presented the Antiguas Reservas Chardonnay 2013, Antiguas Reservas Syrah 2011, Antiguas Reservas Cabernet Sauvignon 2011, Finis Terrae 2009 and Lota 2009. About a thousand people, including restaurant owners and specialists in the area, were present and they were very interested and familiarized with our products. “In both events we could see the high appreciation that the brand has and also we could identify that our principal challenge is to stand out our Premium and icon wines. Also the work done by Wines of Chile was a real help because they constantly support us and we made very good contacts with potential clients”, Tomas Mc Donough, highlighted.
