“Wine Style” magazine just published the list of the best scores after a its annual wine tasting in Japan. More than 1,000 international brands were part of this process, and Cousiño Macul winery was one of the big winners.
The Cabernet Sauvignon variety from the Antiguas Reservas line, reached the first place in the red vines category with a score of 92,5 points. On the other hand, Don Luis Chardonnay was placed 8th among its competitors in white vines category, with a score of 86,7 points. Both rates were obtained out of a base of 100 points.
Wines from Cousiño Macul were awarded once again by the Asian market since they have been able to create a strong bond with demanding consumers through a wide variety of products to choose. With this recognition the Maipo Valley is also being awarded as it is the designation of origin of Cousiño Macul, adding a very own character and a signature terroir to all its product lines.
