This Syrah is a faithful representative of it´s variety. The emphasis is placed in maintaining the vivid character derived from the vineyards. It is a Syrah style without wood, fruity and balanced.

Ideal to accompany with strong meats such as lamb cooked with rosemary or grilled pork ribs with spicy mashed sweet-potatoes, or with different kinds or strong flavored cheese and salami.
Season 2014-2015 had the highest temperatures and least amount of frosts in the last 3 years. It`s main characteristics was the absence of rainfalls during the flowering and harvest period, giving us very healthy grapes to work with.
High temperatures got our grapes faster to the optimal ripening, giving to our wines a discreet acidity, structured tannins and higher aromatic intensity.
The grapes used for this Syrah were ground immediately after harvesting. They were then subjected to a cold maceration between 3 and 5 days before fermentation, which lasted between 8 and 10 days. Selected yeasts were used at a fermenting temperature between 26°C and 28°C. Before finishing it´s processes, goes through malolactic fermentation, settled for 6 months in tanks and bottled.
Red deep and bright color. Ripen fruits aromas reminding of dark plums and cherries accompanied of violets, leader and a spicy touch. To the palate, an intense feeling at the beginning noticing it´s medium-high acidity, strong and smooth tannins and a long fruity finish.
